    I am A GRANDMA

    OMGOODNESS, I am a Grandma... that makes me amongst the luckiest people that I know...
    I was nervous about Charity and John becoming parent...  I was scared that they were not going to make it through even the pregnancy...  But again these two lovely people have again proven me wrong and Charity gave birth to Alexis Andrea Elizabeth Nash Amizic on July 10th, 2006.As of right now she is in foster care, however we do hope to maintain a family connection and therefore provide lots of love and care and nurturing to her...
     
    I have included some pictures in this blog that I took on July 27, 2006 which was the first time I ever had to meet this beautiful child.... 
     

    The World's At Your Feet

    We welcome you baby
    With open arms reaching
    Our hearts filled with love
    Our minds filled with teaching

    Your blue eyes are staring
    Looking up, filled with wonder
    We look down at you
    Your beauty we ponder

    Such a perfect young child
    What a gift, what a blessing
    Our prayers have been answered
    Our fears now are resting

    Your presence on earth
    Will be sheltered in love
    Every step that you take
    God will guide from above

    I hope all through life
    Your expectations are met
    Looking forward, how I wish
    That You'll have no regrets
